Information about St Brigid's School

2010 Term dates:
	Term One:        Wednesday 3 February - Thursday 1 April    Term Two:        Monday 19 April - Friday 2 July   Term Three:     Monday 19 July - Friday 24 September   Term Four:        Monday 11 October - Thursday 16 December

 The school day:  

School starts at 8.55am   Morning tea is from 10.30 - 10.50am  Lunch time is from 12.30 - 1.25pm (Mon - Thurs) 12.00 - 1.00pm (Fri)   School finishes at 3.00pm

The school is divided up into three main areas:

Team 1:   New Entrants to Year 2 children

Team 2:   Year 3 to 5 children

Team 3:   Year 5 to 8 children

Communication:

 A school newsletter is emailed home every Tuesday.  This contains information about what is going on in our school and school community and any important dates to remember.  The newsletters can also be viewed on this website under the News menu.

School assembly is held each Friday at 2.15pm in the Softball Clubrooms in Phillip St. and is run by a different class each week.  Parents are most welcome to join us.

Team Leaders also put out a newsletter at the beginning of each term which has information about what the children are doing at school for that term including topics, sports, trips dates to remember, etc.
